This is a rare and comprehensive 7-piece Specimen Banknote Set from the Bahrain Currency Board and the Bahrain Monetary Agency, covering the transitional period of Bahraini currency from 1964 to 1973. These notes represent the first and second issues of the Bahraini Dinar following the replacement of the Gulf Rupee.

Each note in this collection is in UNC (Uncirculated) condition and features the official red "SPECIMEN" overprint. These were produced in extremely limited quantities for archival and presentation purposes by Thomas De La Rue, making them a centerpiece for collectors of Middle Eastern or British Commonwealth-related currency.
